KNOX COUNTY, KY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE Saturday, January 17, 2026 On Friday, January 16, Knox County School Resource Officer Elijah Broughton arrested a wanted Flat Lick man in connection to a burglary of a building at Dewitt School. 27-year-old Anthony Mills was taken into custody near the 1600 block of KY 223 in Scalf after the burglary investigation by SRO Broughton and Deputy David Dunn.
